As a volunteer you will recieve calls from the app, with the context that you need to translate for, the language, etc. Once you accept, you are connected to the person in need of translation so you can begin helping! When you sign up you will go through a thorough onboarding and an interview to judge what kind of requests are most suited for your skill level and the ammount of time you want to spend helping.
Becoming a volunteer is not a paid position unless you go up to the verified translation professional tier. To join this tier you will need extensive proof of biliteracy, interpersonal skills, and you will need to sign various confidentiality contracts to ensure user information stays safe. Other ways to put being a volunteer to use are : Adding your Entiendo work to your resume as volunteer or work experience, adding to school applications as volunteer hours,etc. Companies are also able to speak to our representatives to set up company wide volunteer hours.
